STRIPED TOP & BLAZER

Today I want to share with you some pictures from Pienza. Pienza is a small town situated in the southern part of Tuscany which is a rare example of Renaissance town building. It's not just a beautiful town with spectacular panoramic views but it is also famous for its Pecorino cheese, my favorite Italian cheese! What is more, it is situated between the towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino which are especially well known for their wines and are certainly worth a visit. We go there every September. Visiting these towns situated on the Tuscany hills means you have to walk up and down a lot, so the outfit has to be comfortable, especially the shoes. I really like the blazer and oxford shoes combo. A striped top and jeans are the musts in my luggage so this outfit could be called my travel uniform.

EMBROIDERED KIMONO & CUTOFFS

We took these photos in Puglia last week (check my Puglia Travel Diary) while exploring a beautiful Vieste. When travelling, I always try to keep my outfits comfortable yet stylish. I love this structured kimono jacket I got from Zara this summer – it’s the perfect piece for transitioning your style from summer to fall. This one in particular won me over with the fringe details. Fringe has been trending for the past few seasons and it's going to be a big trend this fall too. 

I also love a gorgeous blue embroidery of this jacket. It matches perfectly any denim piece so I paired it with my vintage Levis cutoffs. A tan cross-body bag and lace-up sandals helped me to keep it just the right amount of bohemian.

PUGLIA TRAVEL DIARY

Just back from our last trip of this summer. It's a bittersweet feeling as I am always happy to come home as well as a little bit sad that summer is ending. Anyway, as you might have noticed on Instagram or Facebook, I've spent one week in the south of Italy. We went to Puglia, more precisely to Gargano Promontory which is sometimes called the spur on the heel of Italy’s boot.

FLARES

I love flared jeans, I always did. Well actually I love skinny, boyfriend and mom jeans too. What I'm saying, I love all denim pieces in general!
Anyway, flares are back for a while. Unfortunately it's too hot to wear jeans in summer here in Italy so I had to wait for a cooler day. Saying cooler I mean 30°C. Lucky me flares are going to be a big trend in autumn too. I styled them with my new boho statement necklace from Happiness Boutique, my oldie hat and my new tan cross-body bag.

OFF-THE-SHOULDER DENIM DRESS

Last week I talked about my passion for the off shoulder everything this summer and today I am showing you one of those pieces and how I wear it. I bought this denim dress some weeks ago and I've been wearing it a lot of times since then. It's super hot and humid in Italy in these days so light short dresses are my go-to pieces.

Another trend I love this summer is a lace-up, especially lace-up sandals. To finish this look, I added a colorful tassel bracelet I made (here is a tutorial) and a pastel mini bag. Hope you like it, let me know in your comments below! Have a nice week!

MY FAVORITE JUMPSUIT EVER!

I am so in love with this jumpsuit - the color and material, the shape and length, and how fresh it makes me feel in hot Italian summer days. Best buy in the last few months! I often find the jumpsuits to be too short for me but this one is just perfect.

In general, the jumpsuits make a statement like no other so it's really easy to style them. I always try to keep the rest of my outfit quite simple. In this case I added an orange mini bag to play with color blocking, comfy sandals, my favorite sunglasses. And I am ready to explore the city or to take a cocktail with some friends!

SHIRT DRESS

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a nice week so far! I can't believe that it's been so long since my last post here. I guess I just needed to take a break from blogging but I am back! I am also planning to post more DIY projects, shopping advises, recipes and so on since now so stay tuned!

How is your summer going so far? It's been so hot here lately. We took these images last week and I must say I have finally found a perfect shirt dress. I was looking for a more solid texture and this dress is so. I also wore it over a t-shirt and cutoffs and it looked great! This time I paired it this Adidas Stan Smith sneakers and a cross-body triple bag from Mango for a casual look. Do yo like the result? How do you usually wear your shirt dress?

KNITS AND DENIM

I'm back and starting this year with the casual yet warm look as it's been really cold here lately. Wearing some of my everyday favorites: distressed jeans and a warm cardigan. What about your everyday favorite pieces to keep you warm?

RED FOR A GREY DAY

The day we took these pictures was the only day it wasn't raining last week. On the grey days like these, I like to add some color to my outfit. And this red coat is perfect to make my days brighter. I also added a red bag and left the rest on my look neutral. Hope you like it!

BODYCON

Black, red, burgundy, dark blue, camel and grey are my favorite fall colors. This time I was wearing three of them. I have started from the burgundy bodycon dress. I rarely wear this type of dresses alone but I like to wear them under the cardigans, coats or jackets. I think a bodycon dress is a must-have basic piece because it's perfect for layering. I added a leather jacket, red mini bag and my new favorite booties.

SCARF AS A PONCHO

Scarf is my favorite cold weather accessory. I own a lot of them in different colors, prints and sizes. I love scarves because they keep me warm and there are dozens of ways to wear them. Choosing the right style can make all the difference in making your outfit on trend. Even the same coat can look absolutely different with the diverse scarves.

This time I was wearing my plaid scarf as a poncho which is a must-have this Fall. As the scarf makes a statement here, I kept the rest of the look simple and casual.

MIDI SKIRT

Hello my dears! So here we go with a new post, finally! I wish I could post more often and I hope it will happen in a near future.

But let's talk about my outfit. I received this skirt last week and I love it, it's perfect! This time I tried to pair two mid length pieces: my new skirt and the striped blazer (I was also wearing it here). As mid lengths could make you look a little bit shorter, my advice is to wear heels and in this case vertical lines (skirt pleats and blazer stripes) helped me a lot to avoid this effect. I hope you like the result, do you prefer it with or without the blazer?

BOYFRIEND JEANS & LACE TOP

Last weekend we went to Tuscany, which is my absolutely favorite region in Italy. I love all these little towns, full of cute shops and restaurants. I was wearing my beloved boyfriend jeans paired with lace top and oxfords to stay comfy.

PLEATED SKIRT AND KNITS

In this period, I love pairing summer and fall pieces. My go-to transition outfit is a soft skirt or dress and a leather jacket or big comfy sweater. Hats, scarves, boots and sunglasses are necessary too. This time I was playing with pastel colors and used a red bag and lipstick to add a touch of color. Hope you like the result!

LEVI'S & STRIPED SHIRT

Talking about beach day basics, denim cutoffs will always be in a first place for me. Lately, I have been wearing Levi's because I love their higher set waist. I paired them with a striped shirt (check out this post to see another look with this shirt) and my new Céline sunglasses. Hope you like this look! Have an amazing week!

MARBLE PRINT

Today I'm wearing a super cool skirt in marble print and I think this print gives sober yet modern touch to any look, it is really interesting and different. And even if this print is not the latest fashion trend, I still like it. I love to pair this pencil skirt with basic pieces for a casual outfit but I'm sure it looks great with thin strap high heel sandals and blazer too. I hope you like this look! WHITE & ARMY GREEN

Hi everyone! Back to town, back to blogging! Holidays are finished but I had such an amazing time with my family and friends in my homeland. Absolute relax, visiting familiar places which I missed so much, enjoying good company and delicious food. I hope you had a wonderful time during your holidays too!

We made these pictures last weekend. I love this period, the town is still quite empty and people are so much more relaxed after return from the holidays. I mixed these summery white pants (also worn in this total white look) with an army green blouse which is going to take part in my autumn's wardrobe too.

WHITE FEDORA

The fedora hat is a huge summer fashion trend. And even if this trend is nothing new and has been around for quite a while now, I think it's a really great accessory and pops with any cute summer outfit. I have chosen jeans for this time and played with black and white accessories to create this casual yet stylish look. I do like the result and I'm going to wear this fedora again and again!

STRIPED BLAZER

I can't believe it's been 4 years since I moved to Italy and it still feels like yesterday. Time flies! But when I think back to these years here, the summer has never been as cold as it is this year. It rains a lot and it's not that warm as it usually used to be in summer. And even if I still can go bare-legged, blazers and light cotton sweaters are necessary for some days. This time I paired this striped blazer with denim shorts and leopard print clutch which matches perfectly my tanned sandals.

BABY BLUE MAXI DRESS

A long dress is elegant, comfy and chic! I usually wear a it with flat sandals for a casual outfit. And I think you can never go wrong with neutrals as they will go with absolutely everything. This maxi dress is another purchase I bought from Zara. I adore the color and how cute this crochet detail on the back is?
