Just back from our last trip of this summer. It's a bittersweet feeling as I am always happy to come home as well as a little bit sad that summer is ending. Anyway, as you might have noticed on Instagram or Facebook, I've spent one week in the south of Italy. We went to Puglia, more precisely to Gargano Promontory which is sometimes called the spur on the heel of Italy’s boot.
It was my first time in Puglia and I can say that Puglia has a different feel than the other more touristy parts of Italy. Not to say one is better than another, just different. I mean, where else can you get stopped by a herd of goats while driving back from the beach towards the main road? So those who wish to delve a bit deeper into the culture and looking for a authentic experience, Puglia is a must visit place.
